Microsoft Give Month: Cougar Mountain Trail Stewardship Hike
Microsoft Give Month: Cougar Mountain Trail Stewardship Hike
Oct 22, 2026 • Red Town Trailhead, Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park, Bellevue, WA

Join FeelFit Foundation for a Give Month volunteer afternoon on Thursday, October 22. We'll meet on the Microsoft Redmond campus just before noon, carpool to Cougar Mountain's Red Town Trailhead in Bellevue, and have you back at the office by about 3 pm. After pizza and a quick safety briefing at the trailhead, we'll hike to Coal Creek Falls, an easy 2 to 2.5 mile round trip with about 500 feet of climbing, or take the shorter walk to North Fork Falls across the road. Everyone comes with a job: picking up litter, clearing the trail and logging hazards for King County Parks; mapping and photographing the route so we can add it to the FeelFit app; capturing photos and stories from the day; or helping us run the event. Teams swap roles at the falls, so you'll get to try two. We'll confirm your service hours on Benevity, where Microsoft matches volunteer time at $25 an hour. Bring water, closed-toe shoes and a rain layer. Gloves, trash bags and pizza are on us.
