FeelFit Foundation Launches a Seven-Level Coach Credential Pathway
In partnership with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), FeelFit Foundation is launching a fully remote, seven-level pathway that takes any volunteer, with no prior qualification, to an internationally recognised coaching credential.
FeelFit Foundation today announced the FeelFit Coach Pathway, a structured programme that takes a volunteer with no prior qualification and, level by level, builds them into a coach whose credentials are recognised around the world.
The pathway pairs FeelFit's own online training with certifications from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), a US nonprofit whose exams are offered in seven languages at test centres worldwide. Every FeelFit coach who progresses through the pathway earns standing that travels beyond FeelFit: to coach the public, to work alongside clinicians, and to train athletes, wherever they live.
Seven levels, one internationally portable credential
Starting from Level 0 — no degree, no prior certificate, no cost of entry beyond your time — every level from Level 1 on carries an independent, NCCA-accredited NSCA certification alongside your FeelFit title: NSCA-CPT, CSPS, TSAC-F, CSCS, CPSS, and ultimately the NSCA's Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach registry. These aren't internal badges. They're credentials employers, gyms, and healthcare partners recognise anywhere in the world, and they're yours to keep for as long as you want them, whether or not you stay with FeelFit.
The whole programme is 100% remote. Training is self-paced and online, coaching happens through the FeelFit Studios app, and mentoring and assessments happen over video. The only travel most coaches will ever do is a single visit to a Pearson VUE test centre per NSCA exam — and even that's optional at Level 3, which can be taken with remote proctoring.
"Come for the hike, the run, or the code. Stay because you can see what it added up to."
We built this because every coach in the FeelFit network is a volunteer, and most arrive without a formal credential — and that's never stopped them being good coaches. But it has limited what they could do next, and made it harder for the people we serve to know what a FeelFit coach's training actually means. Now, every level carries a clear title, a minimum number of hours, and, from Level 1 on, an independent credential to match. Your progress is visible, portable, and it's yours.
Volunteers can see the full seven-level breakdown, hour requirements, and NSCA prerequisites — and apply — on the Life Coach Pathway page in the volunteer portal. Not yet a FeelFit volunteer? Register today, choose the Coach track, and your Level 0 training begins the same day.
